Meet Kaitlin! OWNER, LAKESIDE STORKS & CO

Kaitlin, a Cleveland native who has found a new home in Minneapolis, has always cherished the family-centered culture and loyalty that defines the Midwest. Growing up, her world revolved around family, with neighbors who felt like kin, traditions that were sacred, and celebrations of both big and small milestones.

When Kaitlin and her husband embarked on their journey to parenthood through IVF, they were enveloped in an outpouring of love and support from family and friends. The day they finally brought their son, Greyson, home from the hospital is one she will never forget—the excitement and pure bliss of arriving home, ready to embrace life as a family of four (including their beloved fur baby, Emma!). However, there was one thing missing—the charming, vintage-inspired 6-ft stork signs she had admired online. Despite her mother-in-law’s determined search, they couldn’t find one.

That’s when the idea for Lakeside Storks & Co. was born! Inspired by the significance of that homecoming moment, Kaitlin wanted to create something special for families in the Twin Cities—a sweet welcome home and a tradition of their own. These birth announcement stork signs not only bring joy to growing families but also serve as cherished memories of a time that will always be treasured. These truly are the good old days!
